The days of the "carny" have evolved and progressed into the days of big business and politics. The once converted camper or cargo trailer to sell food is long behind us. Now, custom concession units are designed to attract and entertain customers, while serving quality, well-prepared food products. A "commercial kitchen on wheels," meeting health codes, plumbing codes, and electrical codes, just as any business serving the public should.
Over the past several decades, Hitch-Hiker has continued to lead and advance the level of the carnival food industry. From setting the standards with Electrical Codes, Pushing requirements for Fire Suppressions Systems in mobile food units nationwide, becoming a compliant member of the NATM to achieving NSF certifications to be able to offer the level of quality our customers demands!
Hitch-Hiker has deep roots to our industry as a whole. Being active with industry organizations such as serving as board members to both the OABA as well as the SLA and maintaining an active voice to represent our industry.
